Tama and Bina’s Story.
In 2017, Tama’s life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Following surgery, Tama faced two strokes that left him with double vision, just 20% motor skills, and severely limited mobility.
As Tama's devoted mother, Bina had to navigate the complex world of mobility transport for her son. Every appointment and outing required significant time and effort. Arranging transportation through other services was not only time-consuming but also expensive, involving countless calls, unclear pricing, and the frustration of coordinating multiple providers.
Bina’s experience highlights a common challenge faced by many families across New Zealand. Every trip, whether for a crucial medical appointment or a simple outing, turned into a logistical puzzle. That’s why Tama Mobility Group is committed to making mobility simple—without the stress of contracts or high costs..
Tama Mobility Group was created to address this very need. We understand the challenges and are committed to transforming the way mobility services are accessed. By simplifying the process, providing clear information, and making transport more affordable and efficient, we aim to remove the barriers families like Tama and Bina’s face. Our goal is to offer a supportive, transparent service that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
